We are hiring for a part time Membership Operations Coordinator in the Development department at our client, a nonprofit media organization. This is a parental leave position so will not turn into a permanent role. They need help with the production of quarterly membership campaigns, direct mail campaigns, quarterly events, monthly email newsletter, weekly acknowledgements files (letters) and ad-hoc projects.
The strongest candidates will have development or fundraising experience and familiarity with email campaigns and marketing. Strong project management is high desired.
This is a part time role, for 20 hours per week, and the team is flexible about the exact schedule. They strongly prefer 35 hours per week June 1-12 and September 14-25. This role can be hybrid or fully remote, but must be done from NY or NJ.
Responsibilities
● Online membership campaigns - project management in Airtable and Salesforce, and email production in Sailthru
● Direct mail campaigns - project and vendor management – everything lives in Airtable.
● Membership events. All virtual. Email invitation production. Set up Salesforce reports to track RSVPs. Day-of event production support.
● Mid-level membership communications - coordinate the production of the monthly newsletter. Generate weekly donation acknowledgement files.
● Additional support as needed - may need to do basic email communication with donors using customer service skills. Back end project coordination.
Qualifications
-Fundraising experience or exposure.
-Familiarity with email campaigns and marketing.
-Strong project management experience.
-Someone very detail-oriented because there are many moving parts.
-Someone self-motivated and not a micromanager.
-Comfortable with mail merge.
-CRM software experience.
Software: Airtable, Salesforce, Sailthru, Google Suite, Slack. They can teach but need some CRM experience.
Compensation: $30-$34/hr
