Executive Assistant to CEO | 3-4-month assignment | Hybrid in NYC | Social Service Non-Profit
Our client is looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO for a 3-4-month temporary assignment. The role is hybrid in NYC with 1-2 days required in the office each week.
The organization is a social services non-profit that works with the Jewish community in NYC and this role supports the CEO with their daily activities with a focus on development/fundraising support. The temporary role is needed while they conduct a permanent job search - this candidate would be able to apply to the permanent job, but this is not a temp-to-perm guarantee.
Responsibilities:
-Manage the CEO’s calendar and travel arrangements
-Support the CEO in managing email inbox
-Support the CEO’s fundraising work, partner with the development team to coordinate
-Assist with scheduling and supporting logistics for leadership meetings, staff meetings, and outing
--Support logistics for board meetings including managing RSVPs, note taking and onsite support. Board meeting Sunday, 3/1 (would like this person to attend and take notes if possible). Next one will be June.
Qualifications:
-3+ years relevant work experience providing administrative support and project management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
-Proficient and comfortable with technology including Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
-Ability to cultivate strong, professional relationships with colleagues, board members, donors, and organizational partners
-Flexible work style with the ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities, anticipate needs and potential issues before they arise
This role is hybrid with 1-2 days onsite/week. The hours are generally 9am-5pm with occasional evening/weekend work (2/26 and 3/1 if possible).
Technology: Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets), Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Salesforce, Zoom, Project management software (like Asana or Basecamp), Slack.
Compensation: $30-$34/hr.
